5. Sit on this huge couch all by myself, because I can! (Zoom in to see my expression!)
6. And act like a starfish!

Here are some of Ellyanna's favorite things to do this week.
1. Hang with Grandma Link (and Grandpa Link too but he was at work on this day).
2. Look riduculously cute while wearing a shirt that says "My finger may be small but I have Daddy wrapped around it.
3. Give Daddy a big bear hug to make him feel better, he was sick with a head cold.
4. Read with Dad while Mom get's ready to put me down for the night.

A visit from Grandpa Don and Grandma Helen made my 12th day here a great one!

Mom trying to burp me!

Relaxing after hanging out with Grandma Linda.

Elly and I love to nap, apparently in the same fashion. I am not sure why I have my arm like that, as it doesn't look very comfy but she's got it figured out!

Look closely at Nate's right leg, yup that's pee! She was wearing a diaper but literally 20 seconds after I passed her off, she had an accident! Nate was not happy, but I definitely got a laugh!

After a week of exclusive feeds from Mom, Dad got in on the action with bottle full of breast milk. Ellyanna loved bonding with Dad over dinner!

She was so excited she even had a few really big burps for him!

09-09-09

We have come to the conclusion
that now that we have a child, we will frequently have interesting tales and pictures that many would like to see. Dan and Caryn have set the precedence of how a blog can certainly communicate the many stories within a family. So begins our "blogging." (As it was once attempted, but only lasted about two posts.)

This last Wednesday Jamie and I had what may have been one of the most memorable days with the birth of Ellyanna. These are just a few of the pictures we have collected in the last five days.

We look forward to having a chance to get as many visits in as we can before Ellyanna begins to be walking around the whole house getting into trouble.
