Good times at West Ed last month....

Our First Family Holiday: Victoria B.C.

In May Nate and I decided we should use some lieu days we had earned last summer at work and take a week off for a family trip before baby Siler #2 comes along. Luckily we were able to stay at Auntie Gaie's condo in Sydney, on Vancouver Island. It was awesome. Here are the highlights in no particular order! We hit the Victoria Day Parade, the Butterfly Gardens (pics with Ellyanna wearing black), the Shaw Discovery Center Aquarium, Victoria Harbour and Legislature Buildings, and we even fit in time to drive to Duncan to visit our friends. It was great to see Sean, Megan and meet little Grace.























We also spent plenty of time discovering Sydney, a great little town, and napping, sorry no pics!

First Trip to the Calgary Zoo

The first animals we saw were the hippo's and the giraffe's. Ellyanna was totally into it. It was adorable.



We got lucky at the gorilla exhibit as there was a billion little kids and strollers there when we arrived, but Ellyanna just went right up to the gorilla sitting at the window to check him out.

What happened here?

Ellyanna went down for her nap with wet hair and this is how she woke up. It was hilarious, and difficult to tame.
