Ellyanna's Easter 2010

So Excited!

Ellyanna was so excited for Dad to be feeding her last week so we had to snap some pictures. These are actually the first pictures where she is starting to look just like I did as a babe. I'll try to scan some old pictures to compare but I'll have to steal them from Mom and Dad's first. Anyway these were too cute not to post.

The Flu

The Flu has struck our house. On Tuesday evening we were getting ready to go and visit Josh, Layla and the boys when suddenly Ellyanna let out a big cough, I turned her towards me to see if she was choking, only to get puked on. If you click on the picture you can see the damage better. Notice the wet spot just under my bust... well when I took my clothes off to hop in the shower, it seemed my bra had collected most of the vomit. There was even some in my belly button! Yummy! (Note: I only took the pictures so I could show Nate just how much of a mess I was, as he wasn't home from work yet and I thought he wouldn't believe me. Silly me, little did I know there would be a repeat performance in a few minutes.)

Poor Elly, she continued to get sick well into the night, slept most of Wednesday away and now Thursday morning has a case of the runs. I'll spare you a picture of that, but before Nate left for work this morning he had to help me shower her off. Nate has been sick too, woke up Wednesday morning feeling about the same as Ellyanna did Tuesday night. He took the day off work and thankfully he was having a hard time getting things going this morning or I would have had to clean up Ellyanna's huge mess by myself, that could have been interesting.

One of these things does not belong!

Today Ellyanna and I were lucky enough to get together with the Alexander boys. The triplets were born just a couple of weeks before Ellyanna so we really wanted to meet them and have a good play together. (Mathew, Ellyanna, Nathan and Lucas)

As you can see the theme today as stripes (not sure what happened to Nathan's shirt), and tummy time! Here they are watching Stacey clap and stomp her feet!

Stacey and her husband have a well oiled system going on over there, I can't imagine have three babies at once. Stacey seems to handle it effortlessly. They are definitely doing something right as all the boys are very content and obviously very, very cute!

Play Time with Elly

Ellyanna loves playing with her toys, in fact, besides eating and sleeping, it is her favorite thing to do!

Here in the middle of "Excersaucering" I decided to let her try the peaches I had just blended up for her! Tart much?

Some of her other favorite past times are shown here, Jumperooing with awesome hair (thanks to her Dad), sucking on her bottom lip while looking over the back of the couch, checking out noses and ears (not shown) and sucking on anything she can shove in her mouth.

OMG, OMG!

Approximately three years ago, my sister Stacey and brother-in-law Mac, decided it was time to try and give Grace a sibling. After a couple of years of no success, a small surgery to treat Endometriosis, and a round or two of fertility drugs there will finally be a new addition to the Linklater-Lesko family. We are thrilled for Stacey, Grace and Mac! Best of all there will be not just one new sibling, but two! They are having Twins!!!!!!

I know we are all still in a little bit of shock, particularly Stacey, but we know everything will be great. Stacey and Mac are great parents and Grace has already been practicing her "sister" skills on Ellyanna!

We are so excited to meet the new babes!!!!

P.S. it is official, all the Stacey's in my life have had, or are having multiples! Crazy coincidence, I wonder?! Triplets and now two sets of twins on the way. Must be something in the name!
